My role involved the preparation of limited company, management, charity, sole trade and partnership accounts. As well as providing business analysis on any variances. Other responsibilities included quarterly bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, self assessment, partnership tax and corporation tax. Within my role I had daily use of IRIS accounting software, Microsoft Office including Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.

I was responsible for managing the Accounts Payable Invoice Reception team of 6. This involved ensuring all invoices were received and either approved or rejected in a timely manner. I also handled any invoice reception queries from across the business.Other duties included the tracking of daily KPIs, presenting team overviews to Account Payable line managers and training new staff.

I was responsible for conducting Fixed Asset audits across the business and improving the accuracy of the Fixed Asset register. This involved raising and processing the necessary cost centre transfers and asset disposals, as well as processing CAPEXs. Other duties included producing weekly negative stock reports for the stock account and maintaining the asset invoice register for auditor visits.
