I have taught students with disabilities from as young as pre-k to as old as 21 in school based situations and older in informal settings. My areas of interest include reaching students with emotional and behavioral disabilities through art, helping students with cognitive disabilities to learn multiple skills through art, using multicultural literature to teach art to students of all abilities, and making the art room a safe place for all students especially those who have experienced trauma.
