Duties included building and maintaining of scheduling templates for our cardiac testing department; coordinating with outside vendors as well as in house departments to achieve better access for our patients. Since becoming team lead we have also implemented cardiac testing updates provided by our department that are shared in our CSR huddles. I have partaken in the training of staff with scheduling of testing appointments and the rolling out and continued implementation of our new EMR system.

Responsible for all aspects of patient care coordination, including but not limited to scheduling, precertification, insurance verification for both in-house and hospital based procedures. Prioritization, accuracy, good communication skills, and problem solving are a daily requirement. I was also able to help create and maintain a work flow for what was a new specialty within cardiology for our Electrophysiology providers.

This was a multi doctor, high- volume practice. My responsibilities included: Patient check in, Check out, scheduling, as well as facilitating the scheduling and precertification of all hospital and outside imaging facility testing.

Responsible for triaging all new patients to be assigned to the proper clinician based on specialty and scheduling of all new patient visits in any one of their four area offices. Obtained Demographics, insurance information, and handled precertification for treatment as well as concurrent review. An average of 400 new intakes monthly and 80 to 100 calls on average were fielded daily.

Front Desk Position. Check- in, check-out, filing, data entry, insurance verification and scheduling.

Responsible for managing on average of 20-30 employees per shift in a multi-outlet environment. We maintained all kitchens in accordance with OSHA and Health Department regulations. Handled scheduling of staff, inventory, payroll and requisition work as well as daily operations for employee assignments.
