Oversee the asset disposition as the College closes. Communicate with colleagues at teach-out partner colleges and universities regarding possible asset sales. Plan, coordinate, lead and implement a process to consolidate supplies, equipment and remove trash left in the College’s more than 70 campus buildings. Reach out to nonprofit agencies to arrange to provide donations in support of their programs. Coordinate with alumni to pick up art work hanging in various buildings around the campus. Plan and execute the inventory of items in campus buildings. Provide tours for potential bidders of campus properties. Ensure spaces are appropriately set for campus gatherings and outside groups using facilities. Supervise the Assistant Vice President for Wind Down Operations and Groundskeepers. Partner with Chief of Staff and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs to complete IPEDS and other data submissions to maintain compliance for the College. Manage retention of records for division of Student Development. Process requests from former students for immunization records. Complete documentation from former students for disciplinary records.

Oversee all functions of the Office of Residence Life, including but not limited to issues related to student development, personnel, housing occupancy/projections, construction and renovations, facilities, security, technology enhancement, meal plans, goal setting and budget management. Respond to emergency situations and implement solutions with assistance of other campus administrators accordingly. Work with students through the conduct process to educate them about the impact of their decisions on themselves and those in the community around them. Respond to parent and student concerns on a daily basis. Represent the department on a variety of College-wide committees, including but not limited to, Behavior Assessment, Enrollment Leadership, Admissions and Retention, One Card Access, Benefits, Waste Minimization, Retention Program Support, Transfer Team, First Year Experience, Institutional Status Review, and President’s Climate Commitment. Co-teach a section of the 1-credit class for Exploratory students.

Developed and executed all aspects of housing assignments for 4300 beds in 26 residence halls and 2 apartment complexes, including collaboration with various offices for housing procedures/services for special groups. Designed and implemented, in collaboration with Consultant and Information Technology Services, an on-line self-service housing system to completely integrate with new SCT Banner Student Information System. Maintained consistent and fair implementation of residency policy including coordination of off-campus approval process utilizing a housing projections model; respond daily to parent/student housing and roommate concerns. Collaborated with Director to develop summer renovation budget totaling $1.1M, recommended housing rates to VP for Finance and Administration. Developed / maintained on-line departmental information as well as Residential Life publications. Committee assignments included Admission Marketing and Communication Task Force, Associate Vice President of HR Search, Campus Life Chair, Student Information System Implementation and Reporting Teams, and Health Promotion; successfully functioned as Co-Chair of Finance Committee for NEACUHO Annual Conference.
