As Head of Membership for the Youth Sport Trust. since taking up the role, the membership has grown to 4500 schools, generating a sustainable national network of schools as well as a successful diversification to the organisation's income portfolio. Within this current role I am responsible for:• Lead the Youth Sport Trust (YST) Membership strategy ensuring it is integral to the organisational mission, ambitions and business development strategy.• Provide strategic leadership to the development and implementation of the YST School Membership schemes ensuring increases in recruitment and high levels of retention. • Manage high level relationships and influence key stakeholders, potential suppliers and develop and manage strategic partners from the corporate and education. • Line management of the Membership Team across the organisations four directorates.• Provide strategic leadership to the planning and development of the YST Annual Conference.• Contribute to cross-company strategic working as a member of the YST Group Leadership Team and Directorate Leadership Team.Outside of my 12 year career with YST, I have experience of working within a Local Authorities and national roles within an NGB. I have also served on the Board of a County Sport Partnership and been a school governor for more than 6 years, for the last two of which I was a Chair.
