This was a short in-house position for a global apparel and sportswear company. We worked with brands such as Kappa, Superga, Umbro and others and created merchandise ranges for selling to the retail market. I was responsible for the design and art working of proposals and pitches as well as the vector graphics and design for product and production design. I would create designs for various items such as rucksacks, kites, clothing and accessories, onto templates and then these would be sent to China for production.

Hawkhurst, Kent

I worked here for about a year after having my first son. My role mainly involved putting the pages of the magazine together and laying up ads. I also re-branded the companies main logo and masthead and then was made redundant when times were hard. I continued to work for them freelance for another year on maintaining and updating their website on a weekly basis.

Ashford, Kent

I worked at Letraset after finishing university. I was responsible for all their in-house art working and design for all areas, including design for production, packaging, print and web.This involved lots of technical understanding of colours, colour accuracy when printing and typeface recognition.
