I made the decision 3 years ago when our family relocated to Georgia, to go into a full-time stay-at-home parent role. This afforded me the opportunity to invest in settling my family and pour into my children's health and education. I handle most everything on the homefront from scheduling to financial planning and landscaping and all that falls in-between. When I am not working on things within the home I am invested in volunteer work and have had the opportunity to spend time in self-discovery and learning about topics that interest me; spirituality, wellness, medical research, gardening, social- issues, etc.

Alongside my co-leaders, I mentor and lead a small group of middle school aged students. Our goal is to guide and show up consistently for the students, encouraging and helping them develop a faith of their own.

Coordinate monthly chapter meetings for a group of approximately 25 women. We participate in a local monthly giving circle dedicated to assisting women and children around the world. I provide communication and coordination of the members in our area and encourage chapter growth through word of mouth. My role includes presenting the materials provided by Dining For Women to the chapter members and leaders.

Coordinated with Director & Board on the selection of grantees based on research, proposals, & site visits. Partnered & consulted with grantees to monitor programs, advised nonprofit partnerships for collaboration, grant writing, prospective projects & application process. Produced & published a quarterly philanthropic newsletter for Houston Foundations. Coordinated monthly 70 member Women In Philanthropy site visits events.Organized Houston area Grantmakers quarterly conferences; membership of over 100 community funders across the city. Literacy Advance, a nationally accredited nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives & communities through literacy. Major accomplishments: 2M+ dollars in agency fundraising & program revenue including: Launched & established a sustainable funding source for the agency through the successful fee-for-service program, generating up to 40K in revenue annually. Revamped program & secured business community partners with industry leaders such as Whataburger, Marathon Oil, BMC, Comcast, Yellow Cab, & more. Led & assisted on grant writing projects; over $1M in grants awarded.Coordinated & executed 5+ major donor events including gala & golf event, over $500k raised.Launched the first Young Professionals Board. Schneider Electric provides energy-efficient facility management solutions & services to achieve sustainable energy savings that decrease operational expenses for school districts, colleges, & city governments. Partnered with new clients on solutions based ESCO projects ranging in size from 350K – 1M+.Managed complex sales process of 6-12 months. Maintained client relationships post project completion for continued customer support, warranty & relationship building. Responsibilities included; consultative relationship management, market strategy development, trade shows, regular presentations to school boards & multi-level decision-makers, problem-solving, entrepreneurship & territory management. Played an integral role in opening office & developing a NEW market in the state of Georgia. Responsible for approximately 1M in sales in Georgia in my first year in new territory, promoted to senior sales & responsible for coaching & mentoring new sales team members.
