In 2006 I traded in my cheerleading shoes for combat boots and served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 8 years. I turn forty in 2023 and as I looked back on my life and the impact I have had; I can tell that God is moving and it is only going to grow exponentially. I recently co-founded Spark Light Ministry with my best friend and we dropped our first podcast in March 2023.We believe that everyone was born with a burning desire (that inner fire) to have a loving and strong relationship with the Lord. The word says in II Timothy 1:6 “This is why I remind you to fan into flames the gracious gift of God, That inner fire – the special endowment which is in you…” Most of us experience a traumatic event in our lives that diminishes our fire to embers or sometimes even diminishes our fire to ashes. Our vision is a world where every person is set on fire with the truth of who they are – their immeasurable value – in Jesus Christ. Our Mission is to inspire and nurture the embers of a diminished fire by EMPOWERING individuals to IGNITE and ACTIVATE their passion to carry out their God-given life assignment.

PresidentStars & Stripes Dash Sep 2013 - Jun 2017I have been dedicated to raising awareness and supporting local veterans and veteran organizations in the Grand Rapids area. As a veteran myself, giving back to the community and supporting fellow veterans has always been close to my heart. Inspired by a run I took a few years ago, I conceived the idea of organizing a 5k race to bring the community together for this cause. Acting on this idea, I successfully launched the first Stars and Stripes Dash on June 19th, 2014.Thanks to the incredible support of an amazing team, the event has been a tremendous success. This annual race not only raises essential funds but also fosters a sense of community and solidarity among participants. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting local veterans and look forward to many more years of making a positive impact.
