I support a team of learning and development professionals develop and deploy internal self-paced, JIT, and VLT training.

I work with members across the Maine Community College System and our small college in York, Maine to support faculty, staff, and students in working towards their career goals through instructional design, learning management system administration (Brightspace), faculty development, and project management.

I led the design, development, and deployment strategy for the business unit's Leadership Development portfolio in close collaboration with initiative, role, and learning specialists through application of user research, user experience and learning design, leadership coaching, talent development, agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.

I led the development of interactive eLearning assets such as video tutorials, technical product guides, and simulations for Saas and PaaS offerings in addition to developing certification assessments. I successfully managed multiple complex projects utilizing project management software like Microsoft Project to ensure successful execution, including special projects such as creating internal onboarding experiences for new hires. I conducted rigorous quality assurance, incorporating instructional design best practices for consistent style and format. I also supported the migration of eLearning modules and certification to a corporate-focused LMS.

I facilitated the learning of students in a foundational composition course to support the development of critical analysis and composition skill development using D2L Brightspace. I worked with various Global Campus resources such as Advising, Academic Support, The Online Writing Center, and fellow adjuncts to provide students encouragement, support, and consistency.

I led a team of Instructional Designers and Learning Architects to deliver online college courses, collaborating with business stakeholders to design learning strategies and manage product portfolios. Alongside fellow leaders, I: set organizational initiatives, goals, and priorities; conducted the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members; and led the product development of multiple complex higher education program offerings for global audiences. Through regular performance feedback and coaching, I fostered a growth mindset approach to develop team members' skillsets and mindsets. Managing full product lifecycles, I implemented process improvement initiatives, cultivated vendor relationships, and coordinated cross-functional teams, utilizing data-driven decisions and facilitating workshops on instructional design methodologies.

I led the design of project-based online college courses, collaborating with academic and business stakeholders to ensure timely developments within defined budgets, working closely with global subject matter experts and instructors, and supporting a team of instructional designers and learning architects to drive program and course strategies using agile methodologies and a competency-based curriculum framework, all while gathering requirements through interviews, surveys, and focus groups, prioritizing tasks, developing product roadmaps, establishing metrics for evaluating the success of product initiatives, maintaining quality assurance, creating user stories, defining product visions aligned with business objectives, conducting competitive analysis, and facilitating agile ceremonies.

I crafted curriculum and assessments for global online and on-site programs, certifications, and micro-credentials, leveraging internal data to evaluate program health and inform revision priorities. I developed accredited and skills-aligned learning experiences through close collaboration with academic deans, marketing, and subject matter experts. I drove strategic curriculum decisions and ensured alignment with accreditation standards while exceling in literary reviews, benchmarking, and skill-framework explorations to inform strategic innovation for the university.

I fostered a positive classroom environment, encouraging students to take risks and explore their ideas, while employing personalized, blended learning techniques to instruct grammar, composition, and reading comprehension. My adaptability and leadership skills were evident as I developed and adapted competency-based curriculum for departmental use, incorporating technology for enhanced instruction, communication, and learning data analysis. Evaluating student progress through various assessments, I adjusted instructional approaches accordingly, fostering a collaborative atmosphere between students, parents, and faculty. Additionally, I led the implementation of personalized, blended learning district-wide and spearheaded professional development for the English department, securing multiple grants to enhance student social, emotional, and academic learning.

Oversaw the teaching of two different levels across four classes of World Literature, a required course for high school juniors.

Observed, supported, and slowly took on more responsibilities as a student teacher for 10th grade American Literature.
