My work with Finance Systems Day 1 included converting 16 systems and decommissioning 21 legacy applications, resulting in achieving merger synergy savings on goal. I led the Finance team integration for the merger of Chemical Bank & TCF National Bank through Legal Day 1 and Systems Day 1 conversion. My responsibilities included developing program management approaches and tools, requirement process, training approach and testing approach across 9 teams impacting 120 team members. I was also responsible for communication to and from Executives and team members ensuring all stakeholders had information to make timely decisions and understand approaches, team progress and risks.

Thorough due diligence is critical to any successful merger. In the role of Program Manager, I provided pre-merger support to the COO and 16 teams across the enterprise on due diligence progress, awareness of critical risks or issues and the Board presentation for the final Merger approval decision. When the Oracle ERP was rolled out to 6500 team members across the enterprise, I served as a Program Manager from the RFP process to implementation. Some highlights include reviewing all RFP materials & summarizing for Executive Leaders to make the implementation partner & ERP system selection, collaborating with a third party and Team Leads to define cross-functional requirements (finance, operations, HR and IT), and assisting or developing program management approaches for progress, risk/issue and decision reporting. Another aspect of my position was driving results in process improvement. I led 3 teams to deliver 6 quick win improvements saving 3400 cycle time hours annually in an enterprise operations end-to-end process redesign as a Lean Project Leader. In another process improvement project, the team I led reduced process time by 40% in both Minnesota and Illinois locations.

I built a new team to partner with the Retail Lending Finance teams and IT to implement a multi-phase $6M Retail Lending Business Intelligence Program. My team's accountabilities included determining scope and requirements, prioritization, testing and implementation. We delivered 2 releases on time and budget; including 103 automated reports and end user access to 337 data elements in the Datamart for ad hoc analysis.

My team partnered with IT to develop and implement a reporting Datamart with 200 data elements and 10 automated reports. I developed a process to streamline reporting deliverables saving the Collections Division $70 thousand (1 headcount) annually. Lastly, in this role, I led the successful transition of Management, External and Regulatory Reporting from an Illinois team to a newly created Minnesota team.
