Provide development, support, and maintenance for the AMID’s pipeline control centers 24x7 real-time SCADA systems.* Responsible for the implementation, integration, operation and security of SCADA control systems.* Support and maintain SCADA systems including data analysis, screen development, database updates, point to point confirmations and documentation.* Troubleshoot and maintain SCADA systems running at optimum level, maximizing their uptime.* Maintain and support the polling software AutoSol (ACM). Work with field personnel for proper configurations and operation.* Maintain and develop the in-house SCADA MMI application, Operation Management System (OMS), in C#.* Maintain and create as needed scripts, programming and SQL statements to perform special functions or automated reports.

Led E&P SCADA team of ~2 to 5 members to support CygNet and XSPOC systems’ day-to-day activities, including 24x7 on-call activities. Also acted as primary contact among SCADA, Measurement, Field Operations, Automation and IT services. Troubleshot and fixed SCADA issues, gathered requirements, implemented and deployed SCADA enhancements and solutions, including CygNet and XSPOC upgrades and patching activities.* Reduced unscheduled SCADA CygNet & XSPOC system outages by keeping SCADA CygNet & XSPOC real-time systems stable.* Provided leadership to work with Automation, Measurement, and filed groups to set up standard CygNet’s HMI and RTUs configurations for different field locations. * Led SCADA team to ensure appropriate designs for CygNet & XSPOC projects and also completed projects on time / on budget to satisfy SCADA customers’ needs. * Performed troubleshooting, identified and fixed the root causes of CygNet & XSPOC problems and related infrastructures including business interfaces, communications, RTUs, HMI graphics, SCADA configurations & settings in database, and IT related issues (SCADA servers, clients and services). * Reviewed CygNet & XSPOC operation procedures. Also planned and coordinated SCADA training activities. * Applied IT required upgrades and patches to SCADA CygNet & XSPOC servers by working in partnership with IT services.

Managed SCADA team of ~5 to 7 members to handle all SCADA events. Supervised El Paso Corp’s East Pipeline (TGP) SCADA team to perform daily tasks and support SCADA 24x7 on-call activities and scheduling.* Led SCADA team to successfully complete in-house El Paso SCADA (epSCADA) applications and Pipeline SCADA System (PSS) users’ interface using .Net C++ and C#.* Implemented in-house epSCADA system’s multi-thread communication modules (ScanController) in .Net C++ Windows service, the 1st in-house SCADA scan engine application for El Paso Corp that is still used by Kinder Morgan as critical in-house legacy SCADA system.* Compiled and analyzed SCADA requirements from customers, resulting in understanding requests properly and finding potential enhancements or solutions correctly and quickly.* Ensured working projects were implemented properly and delivered on-time and on-budget by facilitating weekly meetings with SCADA team members, contractors and customers, delegating tasks and setting reasonable and measurable objectives.

* Supported and maintained in-house VAX SCADA real-time system including 24x7 on-call activities.* Mediated efforts with the Hockley SCADA team to develop and implement the in-house VAX SCADA real-time system in FORTRAN and ASSEMBLY. This Hockley in-house VAX SCADA system created in the early 1990s became the foundation of El Paso/Kinder Morgan’s epSCADA system which was implemented in C# in early 2000s. * Gathered Gas Control and Measurement’s SCADA requests and concerns, and instituted solutions or enhancements needed to quickly satisfy the customers’ needs and to improve the services provided.* Debugged SCADA communication and RTUs related issues.

* Provided database support to LUMCON (Louisiana Universities Marine CONsortium) scientists, librarian, and the financial group using dBASE III PLUS and Clipper (the dBASE compiler).* Provided data analysis support to scientific group using SAS, StatView, R:BASE, FoxBase, Lotus, Quattro, and Excel.* Developed numerous programs to meet the scientific simulations and applications using C, PASCAL, FORTRAN, BASIC, JCL, CLIST, and ASSEMBLY.* Provided LUMCON scientists the necessary programming support by building RS232 interfaces between scientific equipment and computers.* Created interfaces to allow data exchange between PCs and the remote IBM mainframe computer.* Installed TOPS LAN to connect all PCs, MACs, and Apple LaserWriters via Appletalk protocol in LUMCON building.
