As Care Support Worker with CLIC Sargent I was based at The Christie Hospital in Manchester, supporting the charity's Social Workers in helping young people when they receive a cancer diagnosis, as well as offering advice, emotional, financial and practical support to their families.

Alongside account managing regional supporters; including community fundraisers and groups, volunteers and companies, I progressed regional income relationships and sources for this amazing charity. Closely collaborating with our supporters, services, hospitals, other charities and our wider team to continue fighting for young lives against cancer, so that children can thrive not just survive cancer.

Providing dedicated account management to our supporters from the day they registered, I worked closely with companies of different sizes and specialisms to strengthen relationships and ensure they were each supported throughout their partnerships with The Christie. As a team we retained support as well as developing new and existing partnerships and assisted in the planning & delivery of fundraising events; such as the annual Christie Charity Ball and our Corporate Engagement Event.
