Jen Aquino is a Filipino journalist with over 13 years of diverse experience spanning various facets of media production. Her extensive expertise encompasses documentary production, news reporting, factual features, fact-checking and production management. Jen began her career with her training at Probe, a multi-award-winning production company, where she honed her skills from in-depth research, creative producing, writing to video editing and filming.From 2013 to 2016, Jen held the role of Senior Producer at CNN Philippines, where she was in charge of daily newscasts and specials on breaking news. She was also an Executive Producer for special international features. In this capacity, she not only managed daily newscasts but also orchestrated the development of long form specials and news features.Currently, Jen plays a pivotal role at Probe, where she serves as a managing director, overseeing all production activities and operations. Under her leadership, Probe embarked on a fact-checking campaign and a anti-disinformation collaboration with content creators.
