As the Department Chair of Career and Technical Education at Osceola County School District, I lead the design and implementation of 13 career pathways that equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the 21st century. I have over 16 years of experience as a graphic design faculty at Valencia College, where I also spearhead an Adobe World Championship Program that fosters creativity, innovation, and excellence among aspiring graphic and web designers.My passion for education stems from my own journey as an international student from Trinidad and Tobago, who earned degrees and certifications in graphic design, small business management, and education from prestigious institutions. I have also worked as a business manager and administrator for top companies like Apple and Microsoft, and owned my own design studio. I enjoy mentoring students and staff, sharing real-world experiences, and partnering with different nonprofits to support the community. I have been recognized with multiple awards, including Teacher of the Year, for my outstanding contributions to the field of education.
