Program DevelopmentExpert program resource to Assistant City Manager, City Manager, Council and staff. Continually research, identify and work to incorporate Office of Sustainability messaging and objectives into internal and external local and regional efforts through identifying new opportunities and subsequent program development. Communicate programs through public speaking, outreach and events; serve as liaison with numerous regional organizations to develop, refine and communicate business and residential sustainability initiatives. Assist with policy development research and recommendations.Project ManagementManage and successfully administer all aspects of large, complex project management, including research, organization, reporting, team coordination, content creation, and followup. Review and recommend new technologies for information management and organization, streamlining efforts to enhance interdepartmental productivity. Act as sustainability resource for local business community and Downtown Raleigh Alliance. Work TeamsLead City of Raleigh comprehensive interdepartmental and external work teams to accomplish established City Council and Office of Sustainability goals and objectives. Identify and address barriers to sustainability implementation.CommunicationDevelop multi-faceted communication strategy within the City and the community to promote the City’s efforts. Write, conceptualize, design and produce cohesive graphic elements and professional-quality, easily understandable print communications materials for internal and external audiences on a wide range of sustainability issues. Leadership role in departmental efforts in GovDelivery, social media, web content and Alfresco web management. Represent the City within the community; increase awareness of sustainability issues through participation in civic, neighborhood or professional group activities, conferences and meetings.
