Leading an international team of 25 transformational change experts with the Strategy and Transformation functions to drive productivity across the Retail business. Indigenous Women in Business (IWIB) Australia is a not-for-profit organisation who seeks to empower Indigenous businesswomen through a platform that encourages connection, learning and sharing. The importance of support and networking in Indigenous culture, in particular between women is paramount. This support becomes extremely important in the realm of business where women are still facing a largely male-dominated environment, and haven’t been able to access the right tools to help them define and achieve their own success. IWIB is building a community that encourages growth and confidence for Indigenous women to pursue their defined success. Key driver of the strategic and operational tasks of the Foundation, and was responsible for meeting objectives outlined in contracts with 3 State Government Departments; 12 State Sports Associations; and over 70 schools and sports clubs. Accountable for strategic planning; human resources and staff engagement; financial management; research and development of innovative community engagement strategies; fundraising and attaining pro-bono assistance in relevant areas; management leadership; and policy-making (in joint effort with Board of Directors). Served as a public spokesperson for the Foundation; managed relationships with all key stakeholders from both Government and Corporate sectors; delivered presentations to various groups and managed media relations. Operationally, worked directly with schools, clubs and their surrounding communities in community consultations, program delivery, and program evaluation and redevelopment in order to provide the best service possible at the grassroots level; and also worked directly with the key stakeholders to ensure their messages and key areas of responsibility were being reflected at the community level.
