I'm an entrepreneur, curator and writer.I opened my eponymous gallery on Spring St. in Manhattan in 2003. In 2005, we created Hey, Hot Shot!, an international bi-annual competition for emerging photographers. 20x200, founded in 2007, is an ecommerce website where we offer a carefully curated selection of limited edition fine art prints at ridiculously affordable prices. All three of these business live under the umbrella of Jen Bekman Projects.Prior to opening my gallery, I worked in technology as a product + program manager, focusing on consumer marketing, online community, content and creative development.
