- Served as lead organizer, mentor, and presenter for four contracts between Lawrence Township Public Schools and Passaic Public School while leading mentoring and presentation assignments throughout the county.- Spearheaded and led the management, administration, logistics, marketing, communications, and hiring of a team of 25 staff and volunteers for the annual BLC conference for 1K+ attendees.- Coordinated 60+ event presenters including promos, significantly growing event attendance and participation.

I was responsible for the creation and delivery of the technology curriculum for all students PreK-3 through 4th grade. I also lead the allocation, upkeep, and security of all technology resources including SmartBoards and projectors in classrooms, and the creation and management of the school website. Finally, I was the head of Arts department and supervised the after-school program of all 2nd-4th-grade students.

I rejuvenated the entire technology curriculum for grades 4-7 to include aspects of podcasting, blogging, video editing, and software applications: Access and Excel. I also created an after-school mentor program for senior citizens where 6th graders paired one on one to teach the adults how to create technology memory books and slide shows of their families' pictures.

While in my position at Chairville Elementary I renovated difficult aspects of various curricula to showcase the importance of using many modalities of learning to increase the learning of intricate concepts. I initiated monthly meetings with a member of each grade level and the librarian to review upcoming units of study so we could create more thematic units across the speciality areas. A few of our grade level units were featured in the local newspapers and TV station. I developed the district’s first technology scope and sequence for K-5 based on hardware, word processing, keyboarding, spreadsheet, multimedia, copyright law, Internet safety, web researching, and the purposeful reading of a website. I held an open-door policy inviting parents into my classroom during lessons, to both learn and help the students. I created lessons to instruct new staff on using our district's various software, hardware, and peripherals, provided weekly individual instruction (Tech Club) for staff on skills needed promptly for “just-in-time” learning and held monthly workshops on software topics requested by teachers. I also created “Community Nights” where elderly adults came to the lab and 5th-grade mentors taught them about the Internet, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

While at Cranberry Pines Elementary School I received accolades for being the first to teach a highly structured, and inventive writing workshop program. I also invented a class dictionary that helped children spell words quickly so their writing time was uninterrupted, and I had weekly communication with parents using email, phone calls, and/or weekly folders.

I taught both 2nd and 3rd grades over the course of my three years at Beaumont Elementary School. During that time I was Facilitator of the second grade teachers where I led and coordinated meetings three mornings a week, the technology mentor to all primary grade teachers, including a single teacher for a year leading to the creation of her "Tech Portfolio," and a member of the Technology, Safety, School Climate, Self-Direction, and LA District Standing Committees. I also collaborated in creating the district math report card for grades 1-4 and created new curriculum and scope & sequence charts for Math, Social Studies, Self-Direction, Health, Language Arts, and Reading during summer workshops. I planned educational partnerships with community businesses leading up to related field trips. I developed and taught interactive large group lessons for the entire grade level to lead off a new unit. Finally, I wrote a play and corresponding songs about the state of Pennsylvania with our team of third-grade teachers which was often used by other schools across the state.
