Responsible for the day-to-day management of Covenant Place an affordable senior housing community with over 350 modern 1-bedroom units and the Mirowitz Center, a 19,000 square foot, newly-constructed community center with programming, amenities, and a cafe. Oversight for social services, programmatic activities, transportation, meal service, marketing, communications and other initiatives to increase quality of life for seniors.• Launched the grand opening of the Mirowitz Center and HJ’s Café in 2019; staffing, policies and procedures, budget management, operational logistics, marketing, communications. • Awarded over $300k annually in grant submissions for resident services (e.g. meals, housekeeping, activities).• Successfully implemented proprietary IT system for social services, transportation, programming, and donations; enables data collection, analytics, and reporting for fundraising.• Spearheaded the implementation and compliance of the subsidized weekday meal program (18,000 meals served annually); program funding, staffing, policies and procedures, contract negotiations, annual audits.• Oversight of the sourcing supply chain, including contract reviews, quality assurance, and insurance requirements.• Worked closely with the Board on the proposed annual budget, quarterly financial reviews, annual audit results, strategic planning.• Successfully navigated the complex and rapidly changing operational impacts of the global pandemic; anticipated outcomes and demonstrated agility to pivot and adapt to published guidance.• Implemented reimagined Tech Tutor to teach seniors basic computer skills during COVID; authored/published 40-page Tech Tutor guide; program recognized with 2021 St Louis Jewish Light Unsung Hero award.
