Wassup! I'm JenCB and I am passionate about supporting people through the amazing highs and lows along life's path. What I love about mindfulness training is that it allows people to face their trials and tribulations, and find clarity in moments of chaos!When did I begin mindfulness training? As a former semi-pro athlete, I used mindfulness training to help me compete at the international level and in 2015 I was honoured with a CY Young Award. It was clear that my own hard work and dedication had paid off and I came home to Canada to help others achieve their goals too. Like I said earlier, life has it's highs, lows, and some curveballs too. In 2016, at the age of 33, I was widowed suddenly and found myself sitting in the hospital room evaluating how life had completely changed. What did I do? I went back to my mindfulness training skills to help me through the lowest of lows in life. Now, 3 years later, 3 books later, I have a passion to help people with their mindfulness fundamental skills so they too, can have the confidence and tools to feel that they can get through anything in life. How do I help my clients? I often hear, "I have monkey-mind!.... I can't meditate" - This is the most common phrase I hear. With a M.Ed with research focusing on experiential and mindfulness training practices for adult learners, my background in mindfulness training provides my clients with a practical approach, allowing them to choose what best suits them for their daily practice.
