NeighborFoodGroup is a hands-on workshop I host in my home. Once a month I invite neighbors to come together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and teach a range of cooking and baking techniques. Radius was (past tense, sadly!) a fine dining restaurant serving new American cuisine. It was chef Michael Schlow's flagship restaurant in Boston's Financial District, and it operated for 15 years. As a pastry cook, I prepared and plated all items on dessert menu, including Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée, goat cheese and huckleberry cheesecake, panna cotta, and olive oil cake. I also created new items daily for the mignardise plate (bite-sized desserts served at the end of the meal).
