We raised a seed round from First Round and Bloomberg Beta in 2017, followed by additional rounds led by General Catalyst and Surface Ventures.- Guided company strategy in partnership with the CEO. Maintained funding and team health throughout five years including the COVID-19 pandemic. - Led our GTM motion, including managing the sales and marketing teams. Built a bottoms-up, freemium approach that reached 6,000 MAUs.- Partnered with enterprise customers from closing through onboarding and success on the platform.- Coached mid-size and enterprise engineering managers on remote best practices and software adoption.- Built and managed our HR and operational practices, resulting in zero regretted attrition over five years. I joined as the second member of Medium's people operations team.- Led the team as the company scaled from 75 to 120. CultureBit was my first "startup". I used surveys data analytics to assess workplace culture, and I then partnered with companies to identify next steps to improve inclusion and psychological safety. I worked with tech companies and startups from Y-Combinator to Fortune 500s.

Lake Partners is a boutique consulting firm that works primarily with hedge funds, providing quantitative research and actionable recommendations quickly. I led several projects for Lake Partners covering block chain technology, mobile payments, wireless spectrum, wound care products, and mortgages. A few examples of my work there:- I used SQL to build and maintain a database of securitized mortgages in the United States.- I modeled Square, Inc. financials & interviewed small businesses to identify target customers (e.g. micro-businesses) for mobile payment processors.- I built a theoretical model for cellular data speeds using high frequency spectrum, 8x8 MIMO, and advanced antennas.
