About Jennifer Dennis

Program/project creation, development, execution, maintenanceHuman capital analysis, data management, budgeting Streamline to efficient processes/communication Strong organizational improvement/change managementExperienced consulting department chair In 2019, I completed a solo journey from Morocco, across Europe, to Turkey after having my bag stolen. I lost everything but my clothes; without a passport, money or phone it seemed impossible to continue. I was determined to find unconventional ways to carry on, so with an emergency passport and no bank cards, made it through 14 countries in 56 days to finish my trip as planned. If you're hiring someone to direct and manage, create, educate or logistically support your mission, I'm who you're looking for. I've worked with thousands and have been fortunate to experience the people, cultures, food, traditions and religions while traveling throughout 40+ countries around the world. Diversity and experiential learning are two of my favorite things. Earning degrees in Criminology, Psychology and Education felt natural for me because I’ve always been intrigued by people; especially what factors into learning, behavior, and decision-making. I’m a huge fan of straight shooters and solid character. I led 20+ educators and the tertiary programs for 4,000+ students each year for a university in Korea. For many months- between semesters over the years- I spent time on motorbikes, traveling once from England to Korea (about 9,000 miles- amazing, but tough), as well as solo trips cross-country in Taiwan and Indonesia. The most difficult moments were running out of food atop an Altai glacier- where Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and China intersect- and riding through a typhoon in Southeastern Russia. I love a good charcuterie board, but dry noodles and raw onions have, on occasion, been the best meals I've ever eaten. All of these experiences changed my life. I learned how to analyze critical information; keep calm; anticipate and plan for problems; be flexible and courageous; rely deeply on intuition; develop strong empathy and respect for others; and keep a great sense of humor. I can also draw city and subway maps; determine the time of day by the sun; and find clean drinking water in glacial streams. These three may never be necessary at work, but rest assured I’m always prepared for innovative problem solving. I am creative and kind; emotionally mature, logical, adaptable, and reliable. If your organization is also these things, I genuinely hope to hear from you.
