Jendia Gammon is a Nebula and BSFA Awards finalist author of fantasy, science fiction, horror, and thriller novels and short stories. She is also CEO of Roaring Spring Productions, LLC and Editor-in-Chief of its publishing imprint, Stars and Sabers Publishing.Jendia became a finalist for a 2024 Nebula Award (for THE INN AT THE AMETHYST LANTERN, as J. Dianne Dotson) and two 2024 BSFA Awards (as both Jendia Gammon and J. Dianne Dotson). She was longlisted for the Lodestar Award at the Hugo Awards (Glasgow Worldcon 2024) for THE INN AT THE AMETHYST LANTERN. It was also nominated for the Ursula K. Le Guin prize (not longlisted). Jendia is also currently longlisted for two British Fantasy Awards (for LANTERN as well as for THE SHADOW GALAXY; the latter was also longlisted for a BSFA Award). Jendia writes compelling characters within rich world-building. Jendia’s campy horror novel, DOOMFLOWER, publishes in April 8, 2025 via Encyclopocalypse Publications. Her first thriller novel, with horror and sci-fi elements, ATACAMA, publishes May 13, 2025, via Sley House Publishing. A sequel and prequel to THE INN AT THE AMETHYST LANTERN publish in Autumn 2025 and Autumn 2026. Three of Jendia’s dragon fantasy novels publish in 2026, 2027, and 2028 (titles TBA).Jendia conducts workshops and participates in panels on creative writing for international conventions.
