As an educator, I believe every student’s educational experience should be cultivated to enhance their strengths while developing their weaknesses. All children are different and there should be a positive environment of learning that will challenge and inspire their learning needs. My teaching has always evolved between the facilitator and instructor with various teaching styles which derived through accommodating differences. I believe differentiated instruction has always been the cornerstone of my beliefs to guide students to find further understanding of the material presented. Therefore I pride myself in the implementation of explicit behavioral skills in my classroom, which in turn creates a sense of dignity for students as I educate with a growth mindset. Consequently, my classroom culture mirrors that of a community of innovation and creativity.
