Throughout my career at Duke University and Duke Health System, I supported leadership, executives and teams in Human Resources internally and cross-functionally. My high-level assistance allowed executives to focus on strategic initiatives as the organization expanded globally to about 43,000 employees and 15,000 students. I implemented new departmental processes needed for growth and to adapt to new technology, while working remotely and onsite. As the point of contact, I built strong relationships with business partners, board members, vendors and staff.As an experienced partner, I managed complex and ever-changing calendars for leadership, executives and teams. I coordinated meetings of all levels that included scheduling, logistics, materials, catering and follow up tasks. Generated monthly reports by gathering and analyzing information.– Assisted with hiring process and onboarding of new departmental employees. Created SOPs. Supervised temporary employees. Collaborated with teams and vendors to plan and facilitate events, seminars and operational projects:– Annual projects and events include Vendor Annual Reviews, Annual Communication Plan, Benefits Statements, Financial Fitness Week, Fiduciary Insurance, Open Enrollment, Year End projects and a variety of seminars and workshops. Assisted with preparation of 5500 filings and Business Associate Agreements.– Special projects include acquisition of hospitals and businesses, employee and department offboarding and voluntary retirement programs. Assisted with audits of health care and retirement plans. Collaborated with the Board in planning a week-long event for all board members.
