With over 15 years of experience in educational technology and leadership, I am passionate about transforming education through innovation, collaboration, and empowerment. As a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a Microsoft Certified Educator, I have a strong background in web conferencing, Microsoft Office, and creative content creation. I am currently the CEO of Ed to the Max, a company that provides online learning solutions and professional development for educators and students. My husband and I also own Bricks & Minifigs Sugar Land, a one-stop shop for all things LEGO®️ in our community.For seven years, I was the community manager for the Microsoft Showcase School and Innovative Educator Expert programs, where I led and nurtured a network of over 500 enthusiastic educators and school leaders who shared a vision for improving education. I coordinated and hosted events that provided opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration among the community members, such as space details, webinars, workshops, and conferences. I managed a $500K budget and reported the community impact to stakeholders such as funders, partners, and media outlets. I also created copy and graphics for newsletters, blogs, social media, and websites to promote the community and showcase the best practices and stories of the members.
