I have enjoyed providing 15 years of excellent customer service to the diverse downtown Colorado Springs library community. Connecting with people from all walks of life has made me knowledgeable about my community and empathetic to their situations. Aside from this, I have gained office setting and virtual teams experience. And as a Circulation Trainer, I often collaborated with my local team in creating staff training modules, many of which we presented in public speaking format at staff meetings. One virtual team allowed us to share and streamline our training for the West region consisting of 7 locations. Another virtual team, the District group, brought together trainers from 16 locations. I've had the privilege of working with a diverse and fantastic group of people with unique perspectives. After voluntarily leaving this position for family health reasons, I am excited and eager to begin a career in remote healthcare.
