Words I live by: "Where there's a will there's a way" and "There is always room for dessert." I am a third year transfer student at CSU Long Beach earning my BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Public Relations. What started as a career path to becoming an engineer, resulted in me finding my way on the path to Communication Studies and Public Relations. From waiting tables at a 100 year old establishment in the heart of California's Central Valley to operating one the most popular wooden roller coasters in Southern California, I've not only gained 7 years worth of skills in conflict resolution, customer satisfaction, interpersonal communication, and strategic planning to name a few, but I've built a passion for the human experience and story telling. I want to help people tell their story. Before graduation I hope to gain opportunities in event planning, business branding, public relations, copywriting, mediation, or human resources to gain real-life experiences and technical skills. My education has continued to evolve me as a person, making me more open to new experiences and challenges.
