During 2001 and 2002: Financial Advisor/Trainer through “Care Nederland” at “SAEU”, (Southern Africa Extension Unit); a Tanzanian NGO, which took over the implementation of a Dutch Government funded Community Services and Education program in two refugee camps along the Burundian border, from “Care Nederland” Location of activities both in Dar es Salaam and Kibondo. Responsible for identification and installation of computerized accountancy system, capacity building through training and advising local staff in financial and general (project) administration for Care and UNHCR funded projects.In 2002 a two-month follow up-visit to further advise SAEU and check on progress made as well as financial control activities. Further responsible for streamlining final financial reporting, including contracting local auditor.
