I am an entrepreneur, speaker, and mentor known for driving strategic initiatives in commercial and not-for-profit roles, with a strong commitment to community development.I was co-founder and CEO of MTB Direct, an online retailer enabling Australian mountain bike riders to buy high quality parts, clothing and accessories locally at globally competitive prices. Consistently recognised in a host of awards and business programs, including the AFR Fast100, Deloitte Tech Fast50, SmartCompany Smart50, Telstra Business Awards and Westpac Businesses of Tomorrow - MTB Direct was successfully sold to private equity in 2023. I was named one of Internet Retailing's Top 50 People in eCommerce 2018 - 2020, and regularly share my experiences in keynotes and workshops across Australia and the USA. I am passionate about helping others have an impact on the world around them and in 2014, I completed a Master of Development Practice at the University of Queensland which enabled me to ground my passion in rigorous study. I am currently Vice President of the Board of Retail Outreach Initiative. Both the community space and running my own successful ecommerce business require self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to articulate and follow through on a clear plan. I enjoy the opportunity that each day brings to tackle new projects, explore new ideas and develop new and creative solutions.
