My key responsibilities are to manage and grow the IT team as the current infrastructure changes and grow. With the constant changing of the infrastructure, relationships must be managed and nurtured. Due to the fact that the EMS industry is incredibly price sensitive I have to work with a very tight budget and it must be managed to the last cent. IT, at ER24, has an impact on all aspects of the business so inter departmental relationships are key and it is my responsibility to ensure that these relationships are sound and stable. I am part of MANCO where we strategise the growth and improvement of the IT infrastructure and where we can improve to keep the edge in the very small and competitive EMS market.

As product manager I am responsible for all aspects of the product SalesLogix. This includes marketing, training, pre-sales and support. Most of time is spent doing pre-sales presentations to prospective clients. The pre-sales function also entails the scoping and design of the proposed solution. The support function is mainly the support of the business partners by assisting in the analyzing/scoping of the solution and assisting them with installation and coding/programming of the more complex solutions.I am also involved in the training of end users and business partners. This includes basic end user training, customization courses as well as the programming courses.

Project management – full project management function including project development, planning, scoping and application.Business Analysis – Analyse all aspects of business in relation to the CRM system.Prepare and deliver SalesLogix CRM training sessions both for internal staff and for clientsPre-Sales – preparation and delivery of customized client / product demonstrations and presentations , working with both client and account managers advising on content for client proposals and client agreements.System development – Customisation and further development of the SalesLogix product to meet clients business and infrastructure requirements and expectations. Development is done in programming languages as well as making use of the “built-in” programming environment of SalesLogix. Implementation and integration of SalesLogix to the back end of client systems or ERP system.Provide general support, advise clients on various products and architectures, resolve technical system issues on Microsoft SQL, Windows Server environments, ERP Systems etc.
