While evaluating calls using guidance provided by the client, I regularly talk to agents about their failed evaluations and how to avoid them in the future. This is done by reviewing sections of the guide they should be accessing when dealing with that issue, looking into registrations together, or simply by sharing tips learned through several years of experience. When trends are identified or new information is shared with Quality Control, I research and analyze it before creating engaging content using various forms of media. Those items are then sent to the teams working with the survivors. Throughout the day I assist agents one-on-one through chat and regularly attend calibration meetings with my team and the client through Teams. Extensive research of the material has led to instructing 8-hour-long virtual classes to 40+ individuals regarding the entire program.I am proud to watch agents learn and grow, and I am honored that they come to me with questions and trust my advice.

Three weeks after accepting the position, I was left to take care of the business without any other onsite assistance. I coordinated and oversaw all the repairs and upgrades to bring the building up to code and managed all aspects of the day-to-day business. I completed onboarding paperwork and training for all new employees and sold merchandise using Shopify, Walmart, and Amazon Seller Central. Before leaving I compiled a list of 1200 companies and sales rep contact information.

I navigated the internal portal and Standard Operating Procedures while speaking with survivors and performed data entry simultaneously. It was often necessary to be a shoulder to cry on while assisting others as they rebuilt their lives. Empathy was key to my success in this position, and I diligently researched the guidance to ensure the best customer service possible. I validated the documentation by checking for inconsistencies and called companies, contractors, and applicants when needed. Overlooked details would stall assistance so full case reviews were required in every instance, even if only one document had been submitted. Before the contract ended I was tasked with making supervisor callback requests, well known for my ability to discover the root cause of issues while de-escalating the situation.

Originally hired as Co-Site Coordinator to set up a temporary location and assist with client intake, I read Publication 4012 between tasks and aced the tests to become a certified tax preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program - VITA. The program provides free tax advice and income tax preparation services to the low-income and elderly. I interviewed clients regarding their finances and advised them on the documents needed to process their tax returns. Each return was specifically assigned to a volunteer with the certification required and peer reviews were done on all returns. When clients signed their paperwork I broke down the information, line by line, to help them understand the tax system. I was a paid staff member in 2019 and briefly in 2020 before the program was shut down due to COVID, then volunteered every year after.

The Nebraska Department of Health maintained a contact tracing database for COVID within the state. I called those who recently tested positive for the virus and others they came in contact with. The department monitored cluster outbreaks and updated the locations in real-time. As Team Lead I assisted coworkers through Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Living in a small town with several construction and manufacturing facilities allowed me to maintain steady employment while working for a temp agency. I learned about many businesses and their products while filling absences. Some of my duties included processing payments, generating invoices, creating deposits, replenishing inventory, and maintaining the office. I also ran payroll for several companies, adjusting the pay to reflect differing wages and garnishments. I scheduled deliveries, informing drivers of the approximate weight while ensuring the proper merchandise was ready for shipment. I regularly worked with outside organizations to manage subcontractors and assembled a safety manual to comply with OSHA standards after much research.
