This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease. All participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure. I am proud to lead the community in this outstanding peer-to-peer fundraising event. This past year we had an estimated 5,500 people join us at Target Field to turn the streets of Minneapolis purple for the morning. Annually, the Walk to End Alz - Twin Cities is ranked in the top 3 walks in the country out of 600+ walks across the nation.
