Ord Orm Director Of Quality Assurance
Current• Provides Quality Assurance technical oversight and support for the organization; • Ensures all personnel understand the OAQPS Quality System and their QA/QC responsibilities;• Develops QA policy for OAQPS in accordance with Agency QA policies;• Leads development and implementation of the OAQPS Quality Management Plan;• Chairs the QA Steering Committee;• Develops a QA Annual Report and Work Plan for the OAQPS Director and the Agency's Quality Staff of the Office of Environmental Information (OEI);• Reviews acquisition packages (contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, inter-agency agreements) to determine the necessary QA requirements and signs to certify that the review took place;• Identifies QA resource needs to implement the OAQPS Quality System • Assists staff scientists, engineers and project managers in developing QA documentation and in providing answers to technical questions;• Ensures all personnel involved in environmental data collection have access to any training or QA information needed to be knowledgeable in QA requirements, protocols, and technology;• Assists in solving QA-related problems at the lowest possible organizational level;• Recommends required management-level corrective actions; and• Serves as the OAQPS liaison with OEI QS.
