Hosting events for students to learn about emerging industries within energy and environment. Coordinating resources to support students learning within the Energy and Environment Minor Program. Participating in outreach events to share engineering experiences with prospective students.

As Director of Events, I assist the Energy and Environment Engineering Students' Association to organize various social events, to engage students at the Schulich School of Engineering and interact with the community. So far, we've hosted events such as: bouldering, cookie decorating, and paint night!

Working with a multi-disciplinary team of engineering students to develop solutions for a water system in a village in Taus, Costa Rica. Developing key skills in project management, using research skills to build a system that supports people's immediate and long-term needs.

On the team, I mainly assist the Costumes Team, to craft fun cosplays for the team to wear at competition! I help where I can, and also have worked in the concrete lab to develop unique mixes, while also testing concrete sample columns for strength.

Supporting the Unconventional Assurance and Appraisal team ad-hoc with ongoing assurance reviews. Creating documentation/templates that uphold standards of the Unconventional Development Department. Collaborating with technical-disciplinary teams to integrate their input and insights.

Honing my teaching abilities through my service in the Air Cadet Program and as an in-home piano instructor I have gained valuable perspectives about how to best support my students helping to ensure students reach their own unique learning goals.

Teaching beginner's level piano from students' homes. Monitoring their growth, and tracking their weekly progress by introducing them to different musical genres including contemporary, classical and folk styles.

I've always dreamed of selling my crochet creations. In June 2021, I created an Instagram account for Seto's Styles, to sell my crochet earrings. So far, I've been able to connect with other small businesses in the community, and have made about 50 sales to school peers and family members. I have learned a lot about positive business management, networking, and customer service through these several months since starting my business.

While working for the Cadet Activity Program (CAP), I was one of the most senior staff cadets in the training course. CAP operated as a local summer training program for Junior Cadets in levels one and two

Due to the limitations brought about by COVID-19, Cadet Summer Training was moved to operate in an online setting in 2021. After serving as my squadron's primary Level 1 and 2 instructor, I wanted to gain more instructional and leadership experience, since I already enjoyed my previous role so much. I applied to become staff for the Advanced Aviation Virtual Training Course, and once accepted, I applied for another opportunity for a higher ranked position, as Flight Sergeant (senior instructor). I received this position, and was thus the commander of my own flight (training group), in charge of 3 Sergeants (junior instructors), and 35 course cadets. Over the course of 6 weeks, I created and taught lessons about theory of flight, meteorology, radio, navigation, and flight operations. In addition to these responsibilities, I also motivated my flight to do their best on their exams, and encouraged them to go above and beyond in our weekly challenges. The lucky combination of my amazing flight staff, and my course cadets allowed us to win the Top Flight of the Advanced Aviation Course.
