As a first generation American of immigrants from the Dominican Republic, I was the first in a family of 5 children to successfully attend college and earn a degree, positively impacting the professional trajectory for my siblings. During my college years, I was one of four college students selected as a Student Peace Ambassador through the Shirin Ibadi Nobel Peace Prize Scholarship to participate as a panel speaker for the Hiroshima Peace Conference in Japan. I have completed 9 Tough Mudders and have over 10 half marathons under my belt. I say this because I understand what dedication, consistency and hard work mean. I know that it takes tenacity and grit to move from surviving to thriving! My refined organizational abilities allow me to seamlessly balance multiple competing priorities within fast-paced environments while facilitating achievement of objectives.
