As the Global Head of the BYD Competence Center in Logistics, I am responsible for leading a team of Global Project Managers and experts in developing and implementing innovative logistics solutions for BYD's global logistics operations. I work closely with BYD's business units to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

As the Regional Process and Projects manager my key focus was Continuous Improvement - identifying and addressing potential opportunities which accelerate Hilti Corp. towards global operational excellence in terms of logistics (warehousing, transportation, materials management and logistics services). Roll out and Implementation of corporate projects - such as On Time in Full Regional Roll out with focus on Logistics (warehousing, transportation, materials management) on a regional basis with team members across the META Region (Middle East, Turkey and Africa). As Regional Logistics Lean Champion, I applied LEAN methodologies to help drive value creation and sustainable improvements by upskilling and mentoring Regional Logistics team members on Lean Basics and Problem-solving Techniques that will support them in their daily work environment. I led many projects as Project Manager to cross-divisional roll-out / improvement projects. In addition supported departments to execute Lean processes as a Kaizen Facilitator and Coached multiple team members as Lean Coach to support them on their Lean upskilling Journey.In my most recent role as Order to Payment Journey Manager for META Region, i successfully led the implementation of Customer Experience Score Measurement across all UAE Customers - Overseeing the entire customer journey from order placement to payment processing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all stakeholders.

As the Regional Distribution Manager for the largest and most critical Distribution Center of Hilti Operations in META Region I was Responsible to manage E2E Distribution Operations (Warehouse and Transport) to support sales. My responsibilities included overseeing Inventory management of Regional Distribution Centre – approx. 7-8 mCHF of inventory which supplied to Sub-region Gulf Markets: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait on daily and weekly basis.Through my role as the Regional Distribution Manager, I was an Entrepreneurial Business Partner with Area Sales Managers and Marketing always ensuring productive and efficient logistics services/solutions and was accountable to provide logistics support to >110 sales personnel and across 3 Hilti Centers. Was a Team leader to a diverse team of Logistics Specialists and developed a sustainable approach to induction, onboarding, and training of new team members. Through focus on MyContribution and MyDevelopment – and by going GEMBA with my team we were able to drive Regional and Global KPIs – from cost management to inventory management and increase our productivity through focused initiatives that aligned with our Regional Strategy which resulted us in winning the “Team of the Year” award to recognize our contributions and dedication to the business. We drove Gold standards in Compliance Management by focusing on process improvement and strategic implementations and developed control measures to ensure adherence to policies and drive process compliance topics As a Certified Kaizen Facilitator : I worked cross functionally using Lean management tools (Kaizen, Shop Floor management, A3 Problem solving techniques) and sustainably solve root cause issues to achieve cost productivity, efficiencies, and service improvements.

As the Regional Process Expert for Materials Management, I was the owner and single point of contact for Material Management processes in both main ERP systems SAP S4 and SAP By Design driving Continuous Improvement across the Materials Management Team - from Processes, Projects to Reporting and Master Data. My Continuous focus was to improve and standardize existing processes within the Region META (Middle East, Turkey, and Africa) this included identifying and implementing Global Best Practice processes within the Region through Best Practice management. I Led the successful implementation and roll-out of S&OP and HIP for MM Team including the roll-out of JDA to meet our planning requirements across the region. With this I Streamlined and automated processes and reports and used data to identify trends, patterns and new opportunities for the business and analyze complex business data in detail and provide solutions/alternatives for easy decision-making process within Management Team

As a Materials Manager I was responsible for various Business Units - from Fastening and Protection to Power Tools and Accessories. As the sole driver of product availability and optimized inventory management (DOH, Obsolescence) for the entire Market Organization from demand planning to replenishment and supply to always ensure our customer was our top priority

Fresh graduate after my MBA Program - I Started my Internship and Trainee Program with the Hilti Group based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.The Hilti Regional Office is the HUB Operations for the META Region - Middle East, Turkey and AfricaThrough my internship I was responsible for Sales and Operational Planning of Business Units - Diamond Coring and Measuring Tools. I led and implemented a sustainable process for Material Classification - ABC Analysis and also was the single point of contact for all Regional Shipments to the GCC countries including - Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain.With Hilti I was able to be exposed to a uniquely diverse environment and developed skills such as prioritization, communicating, time management that accelerated my learning journey.
