Facilities Services Business Services Assessment Deep Dive Team Member And Administrative Support

For the Facilities Services Business Services Assessment (BSA) Core Deep Dive Team, although formally the team's Administrative Support, my involvement went beyond the typical span of administrative duties. I was responsible for documentation and configuration management of all research, discussion, and team products, spanning from meeting notes to the final presentation and reference documents. I developed an initial integrated schedule for the deep dive and maintained that schedule through multiple changes and shifts. I coordinated meetings at multiple levels from weekly team tag-ups to large agency-wide briefings. Connections with the Human Capital BSA Deep Dive team enabled the Facilities team to stay ahead of deadlines and enabled several early products being ready faster and earlier than the BSSC had anticipated.I worked alongside all other members of the Facility team to develop the center data call questionnaire and the benchmarking questions for when the team visited with organizations outside of NASA. I was an active participant in several meetings with upper-level NASA Leadership including the Chair of the BSSC and the Agency’s Associate Administrator and Deputy Associate Administrator. I represented the team during benchmarking interviews with the Army Corps of Engineers and GSA (General Services Administration). I also led the data collection and analysis effort of the Employee Viewpoint Survey results that pertain to the Facilities Management area. This work directly led to an observation and optimization opportunity included in the final Facilities Deep Dive Presentation product. I also provided significant input toward the final observations from the deep dive team. All of the major observations were all accepted by the BSSC and carried forward to the Mission Support Council.
