Shannon Jenkins is a barrister at the Victorian Bar.He has a commercial law practice, with a focus on matters involving corporations law, contracts, equity and trusts, competition and consumer law, insurance, insolvency, banking and financial services, fraud and property.In addition to his general commercial practice, Shannon has experience in employment and public law matters. Shannon has appeared in numerous trials and applications in State and Federal Courts (both led, and unled) and as junior counsel in the Victorian Supreme Court of Appeal. He accepts briefs to appear in all courts and tribunals, throughout Australia.Before joining the Bar, Shannon was a solicitor at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, in its Office of General Counsel. Prior to that, he was a solicitor at Mills Oakley, in the Commercial Disputes and Insolvency practice group.Shannon teaches Civil Procedure at Monash University's Law School. He has previously taught Evidence Law and Administrative Law at Deakin University's Law School.Shannon read with Eddy Gisonda.
