For the past 15 years, I have played an important role in the development of Slovenian Financial Administration, which has evolved into a modern, taxpayer oriented revenue organization. Prior to the post of Director General, I held several senior positions in General Financial Office, contributing to realization of a number of successful projects. As a Director General, I set the strategic direction and lead the Administration’s work towards digitalization and better services for taxpayers. I also held the position of High Representative of the Republic of Slovenia in the European Platform against Undeclared Work, as the predecessor of the emerging European Labor Authority and worked as a lead examiner in OECD’s peer reviews on the implementation of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.
