In Ann Arbor, I analyzed water samples for inorganic and organic chemical content, managed and interpreted macro-scale datasets, trained laboratory employees, and maintained laboratory compliance with OSEH and NRC regulations.

Independently proposed, organized, and conducted catchment-scale biogeochemical analyses to quantify the effects of water source and transport on water quality in the Valles Caldera National Preserve, New Mexico. The resulting dataset is currently used as a baseline for scientific management in the VCNP, and the conclusions were presented at national scientific conferences.
Collaborated with numerous interdisciplinary scientists to conduct groundwater and surface water research near Toolik Lake, Alaska. Executed chemical analyses of water for physical properties and nutrient content; organized, managed, and interpreted large datasets.
