The CDFI Climate Crisis Working Group (CCWG) is an informal network of 650+ CDFI staff and stakeholders who are focused on responding to the climate emergency. We aim to incorporate a climate and sustainability lens into how we finance communities. During monthly meetings, strategy sessions, and networking events, the CDFI CCWG shares knowledge and resources, and explores challenges and opportunities to address the climate crisis in our communities. We discuss what CDFIs, climate finance professionals, and partners can do to advance community resilience, energy efficient buildings, and clean and affordable energy, especially for communities of color and low-income communities.

Main Street Launch's mission is to create economic opportunity by empowering entrepreneurs. Through innovative partnerships we provide business owners with capital, education, and relationships that allow them to flourish. Our collaborative approach helps our borrowers create jobs and stimulates economic development in low-to-moderate income communities.My role at Main Street Launch includes raising grant and loan capital, partnerships, impact assessment, and organizational development and strategy. I joined Main Street as Vice President- Programs & Strategy in 2013; promoted to Senior VP- Strategy & Development in 2016, then Executive VP in 2017, and became CDO in 2021.I also contribute to industry collaborations, such as serving as Chair for:- CDFI Climate Crisis Working Group (currently)- San Francisco Economic Development Alliance (www.sfeda.org) from 2015-2019- Racial Equity Working Group, in Opportunity Finance Network's Leadership Program from 2015-2017

The SF Economic Development Alliance (sfeda.org) is a collaboration of 17 nonprofit organizations that provide business training, funding, and ongoing support to Bay Area small & micro businesses serving San Francisco. Our mission is to bring solutions and prosperity to every small business owner serving San Francisco. We achieve this mission by actively advocating at the City level for all small businesses entrepreneurs, and by providing entrepreneurs with equitable access to business education programs, advising resources, and capital.
