I am currently a Staff Accountant, working primarily with accounts receivables, payroll administration, and month-end journals and reporting.

As an Editor with Dundurn Press I work on editing manuscripts at various levels, including substantive and copy-editing. I also develop the seasonal catalogues and manage the company's metadata on an editorial level.

As an Assistant Editor with The Dundurn Group I work on editing manuscripts at various levels, including substantive and copy-editing. Along with this I work along with the Canadian Book Review Annual (CBRAonline) by editing reviews to be posted in their online database. I also work on the organization of the seasonal catalogues and bibliographic data.

As the Editor for the Canadian Book Review Annual (CBRA) I work with over 200 professional reviewers with a goal of reviewing every Canadian published and Canadian authored book each year. I work with publishers across the country to acquire their books and log them into our online database. From there I assign a reviewer and a deadline. Once the reviews come in, I assign the reviews to an editor and then post them on www.cbraonline.com.

As an Editorial Intern with The Dundurn Group I have gained experience working with manuscripts at every stage. I have worked on formatting electronic manuscripts, copyediting texts and indexes, copy-to-copy checks, proofreading, checking printer proofs, and writing copy as well as working with authors directly.

As a student in Centennial College's Book and Magazine Publishing Program I have learned all facets of the publishing industry. This includes copyediting, production, sales, marketing and design.
