I was always a techie kid with a love for helping others. I was fortunate to land a job with my dream company Apple in 2007 in a B2B role as a Business Partner. In this role, I closed $100k in new business opportunities and managed over 200+ active clients. I quickly moved into a leadership role as a Retail Manager. I managed technical, training, inventory, and sales teams. I found the perfect intersection of helping others and driving business initiatives through people in the People Manager role. I held this role for 4+ years and I led the successful onboarding of 50+ new employees in 3 months, led employee engagement initiatives, and honed in on people operations through recruiting, writing schedules, and managing payroll resources. I mentored other leaders on the performance management process and served as a schedule market mentor for corporate teams. I loved meeting new people and talent acquisition so I left Apple and moved into a Corporate Recruiter role. Soon the company learned I had a strong HR background in People Operations and I was asked to move into an HR Generalist role focused on Employee Relations. I further developed my People Operations skills, and as the company grew, I was quickly promoted to lead the Employee Relations Team as the ER Manager. As an ER Manager, I managed all Employee Relations functions and Leave Administration for over 2,000 employees across 300+ national clinic locations and corporate and call center teams. I collaborated closely with Legal, Human Resources, Operations, and Executives to guide performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations. I spearheaded the establishment of the Employee Relations department and developed comprehensive SOPs such as an offboarding journey, severance, updated leave of absence forms, a disciplinary matrix, and formal corrective action plans. I hold a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential, a certificate in Human Resources from Villanova University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I love coaching, mentoring, and training teams to be successful, and providing empathetic, supportive, and clear direct feedback. I like solving big problems and focusing on business units to understand their roadblocks and uncover the stepping stones to help them succeed through People Strategies.
