Now, I have built RavenX to ignite extraordinary revenue growth for our clients and inspire senior leaders and their teams. We support you through all stages of revenue growth to discover your competitive edge, drive sales and build champions. Before helming RavenX Ventures, I was Chief Business Officer at Conde Nast running a $500mm and 14 businesses including 7 global brands: Bon Appetit, Architectural Digest, Conde Nast Traveler, Allure, Glamour, SELF and Epicurious. While at Conde Nast I pitched, launched, and scaled a new health-focused business within Condé Nast that grew from a $7M Series A investment to deliver $60M+ in just two years. I then went on to become a turnaround artist transforming businesses within many different industries. Prior I was one of the pioneering hires at Everyday Health, playing a pivotal role in scaling the startup from $7M to $200M, culminating in a triumphant IPO in 2014 and a $450M acquisition two years later. Chief Business OfficerCondé Nast 2019 - 2023New York, Ny, UsSince joining Condé Nast in 2016 to help drive an enterprise-wide transition to become a digital-first company, I have had five promotions leading to my current role leading half of the company’s total business in the US. Today, I own a ~$500M portfolio and lead a 200-person team spanning 14 businesses; seven media brands such as Architectural Digest, Allure, SELF, Bon Appetit, and Condé Nast Traveler; and six advertising categories. Since 2020, I’ve worked to shepherd my team through a tumultuous time of change and challenge, navigating a global pandemic, a social justice movement, and multiple rounds of layoffs and furloughs, all with very little voluntary attrition throughout the transition due to our team’s culture of trust and transparency. And despite the headwinds, including losing almost all of our travel-related advertisers in 2020, we still delivered at 138% growth YOY and a $40M revenue surplus for the year (120% to goal), beating margin goals by +20%. DELIVERED RESULTS:► Grew the digital business to make up 80% of the total portfolio revenue. ► Turned around stagnant businesses (Condé Nast Traveler, CPG, Travel, and the CPG category); elevated Vice from historically underperforming to beating all goals in the first year and on track to be Category of the Year.► Guided the organization through social/racial justice reckoning, raising inclusion scores by 16%+ in just six months (the highest in the organization) by leading with empathy, compassion, and a strong sense of calm.► Transitioned SELF from a heavily print-focused brand to 100% digital revenue and an award-winning market leader. -
Chief Industries Officer & Svp, SalesCondé Nast 2018 - 2019New York, Ny, UsAfter transforming the Beauty division from print-focused to multichannel and then launching and scaling the Health division, I was tapped to lead a major reorganization of the Lifestyle division spanning five verticals producing 40% of total corporate revenue. In just a year, I orchestrated a complete division reorganization, transforming the team from a regional sales-focused to category-based sales business. I also retrained sales and marketing teams, embedding a more consultative, risk-taking, and entrepreneurial approach. DELIVERED RESULTS:► Generated outstanding results, winning Division of the Year, Category of the Year, and Salesperson of the Year awards.► Turned around two underperforming businesses including catapulting Vice from the lowest-performing category to top-performing companywide by 2021. -
Chief Industry Officer – HealthCondé Nast 2017 - 2018New York, Ny, UsThis was a career-defining role for me, where I had the opportunity to identify white space and launch a new business within Condé Nast that scaled to become the enterprise's third-largest business today. I pitched the idea to launch a Health division and earned $7M Series A funding. In less than a year, I assembled a high-performing team of 40, leading sales, marketing, data, research, and operations in addition to devising the go-to-market strategy, driving product development, and forming vendor partnerships. After delivering 190% to goal in Y1, we continued the hyper growth trajectory by reaching $60M in just two years. ADDITIONAL WINS:► Mentored two staff members to win major company awards—Salesperson of the Year and Marketer of the Year—out of 1,000+ contenders companywide.► Launched the production studio that became the company's largest branded studio, generating 40% of the division's revenue. -
Division Head – BeautyCondé Nast 2016 - 2017New York, Ny, UsDuring my first year at Condé Nast, I completely overhauled the $150M Beauty division, overseeing a 50-person direct sales team in managing the company's largest clients including P&G, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oreal, Estée Lauder, Revlon, and Coty.I also worked to establish a culture of trust and transparency and worked as a catalyst for change in an environment rooted in tradition. DELIVERED RESULTS:► Realized 121% of digital media goal and 159% YOY division revenue growth. ► Secured $40M legacy deals by revitalizing high-value partnerships with blue chip CPG and beauty companies.► Recognized as Estée Lauder's #1 digital partner after reimagining the declining print business into a strong digital competitor. -
Executive Vice President Of SalesEveryday Health 2007 - 2015New York, Ny, UsAfter initially joining Everyday Health in its early-stage startup phase with just ten employees, I had the opportunity to drive unprecedented growth from just $7M to $200M+ and 700 employees at the time of our IPO in 2014. The company was ultimately acquired by J2 in 2016 for $450M. During this time, my role evolved to eventually lead a $180M portfolio (80% of the company's revenue at the time) and direct a 125-person team across four divisions. As a division head, I'm proud to have built a strong culture based on collaboration, leading to 95% retention of our sales reps over six years. DELIVERED RESULTS:► Significantly surpassed revenue and profitability goals over eight consecutive years, attaining as much as 161% to target and 569% YOY growth.► Propelled revenue from $87M to $180M in just two and a half years by closing multiple million-dollar programs.► Earned public recognition by the company president as "one of the most effective employees in the history of the company." -
