Training Specialist Iv/Field Training Coordinator
CurrentAssist in planning, coordinating, and delivering over 3,000 training classes per year within a $13 million budget for over 12,000 TxDOT employees. Develop, train and supervise an onboarding program for new hires. Conduct weekly meetings and work cross-functionally across six teams to coordinate training. Troubleshoot and problem solve training-related issues. Increase productivity and overall efficiency by successfully completing multiple projects prior to their deadlines. •Responsible for coordinating and scheduling over 300 training classes each month with over 4,000 participants in 25 districts at 385 TxDOT training sites.•Increase class enrollment by 50% through weekly marketing emails and phone calls. •Train, mentor and manage a team of 25 training liaisons who facilitate training within the districts.•Optimize communication and centralized over 120 offices across 102 counties to one training coordinator (myself).•Train and guide new and existing faculty on how to use training resources and job expectations.•Develop and deliver on boarding training for new team members to prepare for success in the workplace.•Create, review and amend job aids to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.•Mentor new and existing employees on systems and lead ongoing training sessions covering best practices.•Collaborate on the development and delivery of the new FMCSA ELDT regulations for the CDL program.•Design, develop, and co-authored an e-learning course for Training Liaisons.
