Represents numerous multi-employer plan clients including defined benefit pension plans, profit sharing plans,and health and welfare plans in various compliance areas including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, the Affordable Care Act, and HIPAA. Provides advice on fiduciary issues under ERISA including prohibited transactions, conflicts of interest, plan investments, plan service provider contracts, and day-to-day administrative matters. Represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship including litigation involving race, disability, age, religious, sex and sexual orientation discrimination, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Frequent speaker on various Affordable Care Act compliance issues.
