In my dream role of Executive Director at the Grass River Natural Area, Inc. in Bellaire, MI, I am part of the extraordinary team who fulfills our mission to manage the Grass River Natural Area, conserve and protect its watershed, and provide opportunities that increase knowledge, appreciation, and community-wide stewardship is the natural environment.Started in 1969 as a public-private partnership with Antrim County, GRNA, Inc. manages and protects 1492 acres of high-quality wetland and upland habitat. Seven miles of trails including over a mile of boardwalk which immerses visitor in a northern fen and cedar wetlands. We are open year-round and feature an array of program opportunities for all ages. Over the past 25+ years I have worked in nonprofit management and organization and have direct experience in effective team management and group facilitation, fundraising and donor development, event management, and environmental education and awareness.I have found my home back in Northern MI and love using my many years of experience in the environmental field to lead GRNA into its next 50 years.
