I work within the Bridges & Structures team for Fife Council where I have been building on my experience in General Inspections, undertaking inspections of bridges and structures across Fife. I undertake monitoring of structures - using a Total Station - on a quarterly basis and report back my findings and recommendations which inform workload and budget priorities. My work also involves project management of schemes; recently working on the yearly maintenance contract. My responsibilities included preparing the tender using NEC3 contracts and managing the project throughout; including budget monitoring, site supervision and working with the NEC3 short contract processes.
